Mindful Jot is built to keep your writing private. There are no accounts. Your journal entries, moods, and sessions are stored only on your device.
If you choose to use Insights, the app sends your recent entries once to our stateless processing service to be analyzed by an AI model (Google Gemini), and the text is discarded immediately after — never stored on our servers, never linked to you, never used for training or advertising. Insights are optional; if you don't use them, nothing leaves your device.
No accounts, no tracking across apps, no selling or sharing of your data, no server-side storage of your journal.
