These terms cover your use of Mindful Jot. By using the app you agree to them.
Mindful Jot is a journaling, breathing, and meditation app — a tool for personal reflection. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, psychological, or clinical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you are struggling, please talk to a qualified professional. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.
Mindful Jot is free to use. Mindful Jot Plus is an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks unlimited Patterns reflections (the free tier includes one per week) and a weekly recap of your themes and mood.
Prices are shown in your local currency in the app and may vary by region. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically for the same period at the same price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel in Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Purchases can be restored with Restore purchase in the app's Settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's Media Services Terms.
Mindful Jot is licensed, not sold, to you. Your licence is Apple's Standard End User Licence Agreement (EULA): apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula
Your journal entries belong to you and are stored on your device. We do not read them, sell them, or use them to train models. If you use Patterns, your recent entries are sent once to be analyzed and discarded immediately afterward — see the privacy policy. Keep your own copies with Export journal; we cannot recover entries lost when an app or device is deleted.
Do not use the app to break the law, or attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or abuse the Patterns service.
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that Patterns will be accurate, available, or uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim.
We may update these terms as the app changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
